A very warm welcome to our nursing home in Bärenstein!

Our nursing home is located in the beautiful town Bärenstein in the Eastern Ore Mountains. The town itself lies at the road link going through Müglitztal, which leads from Glashütte via Geising to Altenberg and is thus easily accessible from different directions.

Bärenstein is above all a nicely located place in the Ore Mountains. It is attractive to tourists with a beautiful castle and a historical market place, where small businesses for your daily needs are situated. The market place is easy to reach on foot in a few minutes via a vehicle-free zone.

Being at home in Müglitztal

Our house is situated on a small hill and offers a beautiful view of the town Bärenstein as well as a breathtaking view of a natural green hilly landscape. Modern comfort meets lovingly arranged living areas on three floors in our nursing home. These are always decorated friendly and arranged with a good eye for detail. A familiar atmosphere is not only due to the beautiful interior, light rooms and the hearty cooperation at work in our nursing home.

As there are only 60 residents being taken care of in our nursing home, our nursing staff is able to meet all individual needs and wishes of our residents. A familiar atmosphere is not only created by the manageable number of residents, but also by our committed staff and their warm and hearty handling of our residents. These are the best conditions to enjoy your well-deserved retirement.

A familiar and hearty atmosphere

The living areas were created to ensure social interaction between the residents. Cozy common rooms and modernly equipped eat-in kitchens in the house, lovely laid out terraces as well as our popular scent- and herb garden with a small goldfish pond, serve as places of relaxation and harmonic get-togethers.

We offer the residents a colorful and diverse range of activities, which enable an individual organization of the day according to personal interests. Some of the activities include baking together, handiworks, sport groups and promotional trips with a bus. Additional seasonal festivities and activities perfectly complete our cultural offerings. Particular attractions for our residents involve our regular and diverse events, visits from kindergarten groups or a reptile show. We always strive to shape our cultural activities diverse and to your liking and, of course, to your wishes and needs.

We obtain our dishes, for the over the day distributed meals, from a neighbor facility belonging to our company and thus guarantee tasty and fresh food. Our offers are also diverse in this area. The kitchen committee, which consists of residents and nursing staff, meets once a month to discuss the menu for the following months.

Visitors are always welcome as the nursing home Bärenstein is an open house. Our nursing staff is available round the clock to address individual needs and wishes of our residents. Patient-centered nursing plays an important role in this process, in order to grand trust and safety. The well-being and the life quality of our residents is our highest aim.
