Our nursing home Schönbrunn is located close to the beautiful historical city center of Arnstadt, the “the gateway to the Thuringian Forest”. In a calm and green residential area the nursing home does not only impress with good connections to public transport but also with the short distance to the city center.

Thus residents and visitors experience beautiful moments outside of the nursing home and are able to enjoy and discover their surroundings. A wonderful green area embeds the nursing home Schönbrunn smoothly and invites, as well as our spacious terraces and beautiful garden, visitors and residents to go for walks and spend some time there.

Pleasantly bright and spacious rooms on three floors characterize our completely barrier-free house. Individually designed living areas with many single- and double bedrooms do not only provide optimal orientation but also meet the care standards on a high level, without losing any of its pleasant charm. We offer a unique living atmosphere which meets the individual needs and wishes of our residents and is reflected in the whole nursing home.

The rooms can be individually furnished with cherished furniture, accessories and other personal objects the residents want to bring along. We see this as an important aspect for our residents in order to create a familiar and comfortable environment

Our offer of care compliments this principal: the resident and his needs always come first. We adjust our nursing services together to individual needs in order to guarantee the optimum support and care.

Our highest goals are to ensure a high quality of life and well-being

Among individual care and support, living in a community and social interaction between residents is also at the center of our efforts. This shows in the colorful range of activities we offer, which are always adjusted to the different seasons. T    hese include gymnastics, domestic activities, memory training, a regular´s men table, senior citizen´s sport, and joint singing – daily activities perfectly round the sincere life together in our nursing home off and transform it into a place of peaceful togetherness. Especially our joint baking and cooking offers are met with enthusiastic responses.

Café Schönbrunn, which has an unmistakable atmosphere, is located in our foyer and invites residents, neighbors and visitors to spend some quality time there and also hosts musical events.

Regular excursions in the region and visits to cultural events make it possible for our residents to participate in the social life of the city.
