Welcome to the nursing home „Grüne Aue“

This modern nursing home, for 40 senior citizens that are in need of care, is situated in the center of the municipality Jahnsdorf/Leukersdorf and it is surrounded by a beautiful garden.  Stops for trains and busses are in the immediate vicinity and can easily be reached by foot. This excellent central location is a great advantage for our agile residents as well as for their families and guests.

Restful hours in the open can be enjoyed in the public park. Moments with friends and family that are worth being remembered are spent here and physical activities can be carried out. The comfortable and peaceful atmosphere of this park also reflects the character of the house.

Our nursing home “Grüne Aue” captivates with an attractive façade, a solid construction and a beautiful architecture which adapts to its environment and we want it to be a house of cooperation and get-together for our 40 inhabitants.

All rooms in the „Grüne Aue“are flooded with light due to big windows and the furnishing is comfortable. This coziness is also reflected by the areas that are used collectively. Own furnishings or other personal things can also increase the intimacy and familiarity in the new home.

A special coloration in the house makes an optimal orientation possible. Discreet decoration, furniture that matches in terms of color and varied mural paintings create a warm feeling of coziness. Especially during the warm months of the year a terrace which can be reached from the dining room invites the inhabitants to enjoy nature and the park. The outside area can also be reached by disabled residents without a problem.

Amicable care and support on a high level

Individual nursing and support for the residents show our high standard regarding quality which is offered by professional staff that is constantly improving its skills. Every resident is looked after according to his own personal needs and is actively supported in order to enhance his independence. The tools include several activities like music- and dance events, common excursions and creative activities within our own premises. We also offer a special individual day care for those residents that are restricted regarding their mental ability. Regarding our holistic nursing approach we work closely together with the families and family physicians.

When we talk with the families and the future residents we can, of course, take into consideration individual requests in order to make an ambitious stay possible. The quality of life and the well-being of our inhabitants are always our highest goal.
