The beautiful “Kirschhof” by pro civitate is located in the centre of Chemnitz, well connected to the comforts of the inner city but still very quiet. Individual and modern care is our top priority, always aiming at encouraging our residents’ independence.

The up to date and welcoming living area of the cordially run institution stretches across three floors. Eighty-one bright single bedrooms all with an en suite bathroom provide an ample living comfort. There are comfortable open floor plan kitchens and a dining hall available for shared mealtimes on each floor.

The picturesque yard with its cherry trees invites to walks and idleness and offers lush green to the eye. The institution also offers plenty of parking space and very good accessibility to public transportation. Shops, doctors and the liveliness of the inner city close by advance Kirschhof to a popular residential home with all the advantages of care and nursing.

Wonderfully spacious hallways and fully accessible ways go hand in hand with modern interior and a harmonic colour design. There is a special emphasis on a light and airy atmosphere, supported by attractive light domes, a magnificent atrium in the centre of the building allowing the advantage of natural daylight in the rooms, and big windows. While residents particularly use the cosy living and lounge area during the cold season, the beautiful balcony terrace with its view on the cherry yard is widely enjoyed during summer.

A colourful onsite garden at Kirschhof also invites for a coffee and relaxing. There is a whole range of ergo therapeutic services available to residents, too. Communicative Bingo afternoons, common singing and monthly changing events make living at Kirschhof diverse and meaningful.
